How to disable/control Back Button

I am in my application and I have control back button.

public boolean onKeyDown(int keyCode, KeyEvent event)
{
if (keyCode == KeyEvent.KEYCODE_BACK )
{
return false;
}

return super.onKeyDown(keyCode, event);
}

If you want to control the Back button, for example, to press the back button if you want to go somewhere else than the previous screen ;-

if(keyCode == KeyEvent.KEYCODE_BACK) {
